'G.C.B.'s' Kristin Chenoweth on Christianity, revenge and singing on the show


"G.C.B." is a the new dramedy from ABC that pits high school mean girl Amanda Vaughn (Leslie Bibb) against the girls she was mean to, led by the pint-sized sugar-won't-melt-in-her-mouth Carlene Cockburn (Kristin Chenoweth).When Amanda returns to her Dallas home, she discovers that her one-time torture victims are not quick to welcome her home with open arms, despite praying for her at church. The GCB does stand for good Christian belles, after all. Star Chenoweth has never been shy about her Christian faith and so Zap2it asked her about the vocal criticisms from Christians who have seen the TV promos and think that the show is making fun of Christianity."I wouldn't do it if it did," says Chenoweth. "I think that [the critics] need to watch the show They're making a judgment and they shouldn't. They should watch it and see that we don't make fun. There's a difference between 'making fun' and 'having fun...
