Once Upon a Time “Red-Handed” Review

Things got a little bloody in this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time, aptly titled "Red-Handed," when we learned the real story of Red Riding Hood, Granny, the wolf, and a very unfortunate boy named Peter.

In Storybrooke, she might go by Ruby, eternally cursed to serve drinks and flirt with customers at Granny’s diner, but in Fairytale Land, she’s Red, trapped in a cottage in the woods with her grandmother, seemingly for her own protection against a blood-thirsty wolf who terrorizes the village every month. Obviously, we all figured werewolf, especially when Red and her new friend Snow White tracked the wolf’s prints in the snow and they started to look more like shoes than paws, but I was more than a little surprised to learn that the wolf wasn’t Granny or Peter (Red’s would-be suitor), but Red herself.
