‘The Vampire Diaries,’ Season 3, Episode 16, ’1912?: TV Recap

Welcome back, TVD fans! Tonight’s episode opens in 1912, where we see a Salvatore relative get stabbed by an unknown assailant. He’s not the only Founder who has recently been killed. Those past murders strongly resemble the stabbings taking place in present-day Mystic Falls—murders that Sheriff Forbes believes Alaric may have been committing. After getting shot by Dr. Fell (and revived by vampire blood), he’s been taken to a holding cell, where Forbes informs him that Meredith has given evidence pinning the murders on him.
