Hawaii Five-0 “Kalele” Review

In this episode of Hawaii Five-0, called “Kalele” (Faith), Steve’s little sister is back on the island, thanks to a job as a stewardess, oops I mean flight attendant. But since nothing in Steve’s life can go quite as easily as that, she of course brings along her own bit of trouble. Little sis has been forced to transport diamonds to save her friend and now Five-0 is on the case to save the friend and clear Mary’s name.

Chief Fryer is also back and now he’s the new Chief of detectives. When the Five-0 case stumbles into his territory, the team is forced to work with him. Also helping them out is another familiar face, but perhaps only to those who saw the original series. August March (played by Ed Asner, a character who first appeared in the original Hawaii Five-0 back in 1975) is an old criminal just let out of prison who uses his expertise in diamonds to help out the team. In the end, it turns out that Mary’s friend was in on the whole thing from the beginning, not that it helps much, seeing as how she too gets double crossed. Read More...
