'Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome' won't be a TV series -- may hit the web

"Battlestar Galactica" fans have been through the ringer. First, our beloved series gets an ending that left many fans either cold or confused. Next we lose "Caprica." Now we find out that the newest series in the works, "Battlestar Galatica: Blood and Chrome" isn't going to make it to the airwaves, according to Deadline. The show about the younger years of William Adama has been in the works for quite some time. Though it was initially imagined as a web series, it was greenlit in October 2010 for a two hour TV pilot. SyFy in all their idiocy. At a time when genre T.V shows like The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are being accepted by mainstream media and audiences, they flake out. I guess they'd rather show more wrestling or crappy B-movies. Way to grow SyFy. I hope this gets taken to another network.

I'm with you Mr Schmitt, I've been a fan of battlestar galactica since I was a child and I must admit the series Caprica did take alot to warm up and get going now I have finally watched the first series of caprica I believe they should have carried on with this series with up to 3 to 4 seasons and put blood and chrome on television.

As for the battlestar fans like my self, I am sure have not grown tired of these story lines and there are other story lines that have not been questioned yet from the newest battlestar galatica series i.e. what was thrace and who was her father??

Again I must admit I do enjoy the walking dead but it appeals to must people as most people do enjoy a good zombie series/film but I encourage screen writers/directors or whoever to try to make the battlestar/caprica storylines a must as AI is not as far in the future as maybe people think it is. Plus very enjoyable viewing.
