Mad Men “Signal 30? Review

Pete Campbell has always been a slimy little git, but he’s always been the git for whom you inexplicably rooted. This week’s episode of Mad Men, "Signal 30," proved that he’s just getting slimier with age.

Caught between the old guard and the new, Pete doesn’t quite fit in anywhere. He’s too young to have been in the Pacific or Korea, but he’s too old to be drafted into Vietnam. He’s just hip enough to understand that he will never be hip again. This dawning realization is slowly driving him to resent the perfect life that Trudy believes she is giving him by having babies, wearing out-dated dresses and brow-beating his business partner into a country dinner party.
