Nicely Done For A Similar Sequal

Cage yet again thrilled me with his witty sarcasm. Only he can pull off such cheesy lines and make them so hillarious. The action, as with the first National Treasure, was predictably suspenseful, although I must say that I wasn't kept guessing as much as I was in the first. That's simply the downfall to sequals. I found there was less comedy than the original, but the sarcasm by far made up for it, especially with Cage's performance while trying to cause a scene in one particular scene worth spoiling for those who haven't seen this movie yet, where Cage is trying to find the secret of the first Resolute Desk... I shall say no more...

It was equally funny, filled with action and suspense, thrilling puzzles and history's mysteries, and I dare say the unique weasely charm that Cage brings to the screen; makes this movie well worth watching again and again for some clean cut, wholesome family fun.
