Bachelorette host Chris Harrison: Emily Maynards season drastically different than seasons past


"Bachelorette" host Chris Harrison spoke with the press Wednesday (May 9) to dish about Emily Maynard's upcoming season, which starts Monday, May 14. He says that her being a single mom definitely gave this season a different vibe. "Emily's season is drastically different than anything we've ever done ... Her being a single mom definitely changed the tone, from night one," says Harrison. "She's looking at this from the perspective of being a parent ... throughout the show there was always that underlying issue of she's a mom and is this guy ready?"Harrison also says that Emily being a mom and there being several single dads in the bachelor pool, plus the average age of the men being a little higher definitely contribute to less of the superficial drama we've seen in seasons before."You don't have the frat house humor and the frat house drama that maybe you've seen in seasons past with younger contestants...
