CMT Awards 2012: President Obama and Mitt Romney won't pick sides in Toby Keith and Kristen Bell race


For the opening sketch for the 2012 CMT Awards, co-hosts Toby Keith and Kristen Bell filmed pseudo-political attack ads as they pretended to fight over who was going to host the awards show. The sketch featured cameos by Kathie Lee and Hoda, and then President Obama and Mitt Romney. President Obama was filmed in what appeared to be the White House, calling it one of the toughest decisions he'd ever had to make and then circling both their names on a ballot. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney looked to be filmed at a campaign event, saying he thinks they should co-host and that he just put two people back to work - "You're welcome, America."
