The Newsroom: “I'll Try to Fix You” Review

When prepping for these reviews, I made a note that The Newsroom's second episode largely felt like a direct sequel to the series' pilot, and that the third episode, "The 112th Congress," almost played like a reboot of sorts, both for the series and the characters.

Just as the first two episodes seemed to function best as a unit, last week's episode tied directly to this week's episode, "I'll Try to Fix You," focusing on McAvoy's social life and how exactly that factors into his career as a network anchor. OK the stuff is getting tight on the Newsroom and going into the romantic entanglement is classic Sorkin watch the his other shows and you will see he does it to keep it interesting that's what good writing is haters.
