Alphas Season 2: The Blurry Line Between Good and Evil

As the Alphas mythology continues to evolve, it has become less clear who exactly the "good guys" are in the Alpha conflict. Our protagonists have remained our protagonists primarily because we are the most familiar with their characters, and not necessarily because they are more "good" than the people they’re up against.

It is only in relation to our protagonists’ goals that we define how the antagonists’ actions are seen. The government is constantly at odds with Rosen and his team of Alphas, so we see the government officials as fear driven, power hungry buffoons. Stanton Parish and the Red Flag organization act in a way that undermines the slow progress that Rosen and his Alphas believe they’re making from the inside, so we see the Alpha resistance as terrorists and antagonists.
