Perception “Nemesis” Review

This week on Perception Dr. Pierce was treated to a case with a suspect that hit a little too close to home for him. Attempting to solve the case of a murdered judge, guest star Jonathan Tucker shows up as the prime suspect. And also as a looking glass into the psyche of Dr. Pierce. Tucker plays a schizophrenic, and Dr. Pierce starts to see a little more of himself inside this person than he seems to feel comfortable with.

I would have loved to see more of the interaction between these two, but Perception sort of missed the mark with "Nemesis". There was ample opportunity to play into (and with) Pierce’s self doubts, but instead it just seemed like his story line took a back burner to the murder case.

Kate pretty much gets everyone that she’s interviewing as a possible suspect to spill their guts with very little probing… up to and including the actual killer and the dead judge’s husband. I don’t know, it just seems like Kate makes interrogation seem easier than it should be. But who knows? Maybe she’s just that good at her job. Read More...
