Warehouse 13: "Fractures" Review

Note: Full spoilers for the episode follow.

For the past couple of weeks I've felt that Warehouse 13 diluted its unique flavor of sci-fi TV by going with episodes broken into three separate storylines. This week's episode starts out the same way, but with one clever tweak: the three subplots converge into one cohesive story that's fun to watch and gives everyone time to shine.

The opening minutes are full of charm and wit and a heart-warming element as Artie takes some time off from the Brotherhood attempting to ruin his life and spend some time with his "girlfriend" Dr. Vanessa. Lindsay Wagner reprises her role yet again and she's as sweet as she's ever been. It did strike me as a little odd that Artie would choose to go on a love junket in the midst all of this artifact-stealing chaos, but I guess there's really never a good time for a Warehouse agent to take a vacation and Artie certainly deserved some time to wind down.
