The Voice Season 3 Premiere - Blind Audition Clips

The Voice returns to NBC tonight for the first of a three part premiere that culminates Wednesday when The Voice goes head to head with Simon Cowell's X-Factor on FOX.  NBC is clearly hoping to use The Voice to post a winning week of ratings as the Fall TV series FINALLY ramps up.

If you haven't watched the series, one of the differentiating factors of The Voice is the fact that competitors do not audition initially to establish whether or not they can sing well;  every competitor is assumed to be a capable vocalist when they take the stage.  Celebrity coaches Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Cee Lo Green will listen to auditions with their back turned to the performer and can either vote to draft that performer to their team, or pass.  In the event that more than one coach votes for a competitor, the competitor can choose whose team they will go to.  No votes?  Get outta here.  Exit stage left.

To give you a taste of what to expect from tonight's Blind Audition premiere, here are a couple of clips from The Voice season 3 Premiere. Read More...
