'The Voice' Season 3 winner: Cassadee Pope, Terry McDermott, or Nicholas David?

Few were surprised on Tuesday night when Cassadee Pope, Blake Shelton's contestant, won Season 3 of "The Voice." A frontrunner from the beginning, Pope had the experience and cross-genre appeal to charm not only the other coaches, but the viewing public -- and, perhaps most importantly, the iTunes buyers.In the last performance competition round, Pope sang "Over You," by Miranda Lambert, again. She and Shelton chose Sheryl Crow's "Steve McQueen" for their duet. For her final performance -- and the final performance of the night -- Pope sang "Cry" by Faith Hill, once again leaning into the country genre that helped her connect with her audience.During the finale, Pope had the opportunity to sing with a personal favorite of hers -- Avril Lavigne. She'd previously sung Lavigne's "I'm With You" during the competition.
