'Supernatural' 'Torn and Frayed' preview: Heaven's 'most adorable angel' gets kidnapped

The gang is getting back together! Despite tensions between the Winchester brothers, this week's episode of "Supernatural" sees Sam and Dean reuniting to help Castiel save a fellow angel. Apparently, Crowley (Mark Sheppard) has made a move, and an angel rescue mission is in order. "In this episode we find Crowley going on offense," says showrunner Jeremy Carver. "When he and his minions are basically working over a captured angel, hoping to find what makes an angel tick by basically dialing into this guy's hard-wiring." The angel in question -- who Dean sarcastically refers to as "Heaven's most adorable" -- is Samandiriel, the angel from "What's Up Tiger Mommy?" Samandiriel is one of a few allies that Castiel still has in Heaven, so it makes sense that he'd want to stage a rescue mission.
