Hello there! Yeah i sooo agree with you!In the book from Charlaine Harris "Dead and Gone" something is meant to happen. I havent read the book yetbut you can see all the comments and it looks wicked!Have a look at this link : It has the customer reviews and it tells you the overview of the book (what happen to Eric). I think they will be together! There is something dodgy about Bill and his never being there when she trully needs him! Also has anyone else noticed how every episode Eric gets hotter and hotter, better hair, that sexy sexy suit etc... Bill on the other hand seems to be getting less attractive looking. Is this just me? I took this as a kind of visual clue as True Blood loves to give us clues, but I may be wrong, what do you guys think!? Also I think Eric and Sookie totally belong together they have that hate turned love thing going on I reckon. Way more passion that Bill could ever muster! :D

My goodness, if you want REAL Eric and Sookie action, you HAVE to read "Dead to the World" from the series (naturally it'll be much better if you read right from book 1). There's a chapter in "Dead to the World" that I book marked because of an unbelievable *cough* action scene that is so discriptive that it made my jaw dropped and my drool ran. The way CH describes Eric and his "assets" definitely makes you appreciate the actor SO much more. *HOT HOT HOT* I didn't think Eric's character would evolve the way it did and he is FAR more interesting and has more depth than Bill. I mean I like the strong silent type but how can you resist strong, powerful, with a sense of evil humor, wrapped in tall blond and handsome? Jeez, can you tell I'm a fan? ;)

I completely agree. All Bill seems to say these days is "Stay away from Sookie" and they have definately been downplaying his character. On the other hand Eric gets better and better. OMG I drool every time he is in a scene and replay it over. He's actually interesting/funny/sexy and there is something almost sweet about him. Please I am over the overprotective, short and boring Bill. He was good in season 1 + 2 but I really hope for season 3 there is less of him. Unless they can match him to Eric next season which I highly doubt/don't really want to happen :P Oh btw, Eric flies????? That was just a tad random. lol

I think icestorm99 said it best. I had that same drooling action going on. I have read all the books and if HBO continues with the series I believe that True Blood can only get better and better. Lots of twists and turns but really fun at the same time. I love the Eric and Sookie relationship best. HOT HOT HOT!!! All that gorgeousness.

Hey did you guys know Alex skarsgard was in Zoolander!!?! I was just surfing for fun and found a YouTube clip of him. Remember the male models that lived with zoolander and died of the funny freak gas station explosion? Haha the tall blond was Alex! Check it out. oh Whiteca, in the books they explain a bit more about the flying. Apprently some vamps have talents too. I don't think it's only based on their age but only some can fly like Eric and dunno if the series will cover it but the queen's got talents too. :p right now I hope her talent is disappearing off the show. Pretty girl but not a good part for her.

Hey tennislover, there's a total of 9 books right now but I believe there's a "best of" sookie coming out in oct. Best of all, brand new original book 10 is due out in 2010. Arrgh so far off can't wait. If you're not a readin kinda person, they have audiobooks out so you can listen on iPod or in the car. Narrator has a sookie southeren accent, really fun to listen to. All this info available on charlaine Harris website just in case I look like a freak haha

The book that is coming out in October isn't a "best of" just to clarify. It's a compilation of all of the Sookie short stories that have been previously featured in various other supernatural themed short story books.

Everyone is all about Eric and Sookie. I don't see it coming in the next season. Though Bill's character is continually downplayed, he is still constant and self sacrificing. Even if Sookie found out that her initial infatuation with him was conceived in the drinking of his blood, his actions spoke clearly of his true love for her. Eric, on the other hand, is conniving and self centered. All of his actions have been counter to Sookie's benefit. Perhaps Sookie will be seduced by him, but I don't see Alan Ball making them a couple. He has deviated enough from the books that I can see him taking the Sookie/Eric relationship down a completely different road. That said, this show is stock full of surprises.

Start with book one and read the whole series. Eric is so much more in the books and truthfully, I love the series but season two went in a really weird direction from the book and actually cut out some Eric and Sookie action that was pretty funny. Eric and Sookie are such a great couple, way more passion then her and Bill. I only hope that the series will do them the justice they deserve. I got the books and read all 9 of them in 6 days. I am now on my 3rd time through the series. Hey book 10 is due out in May so will have something else to tide us over until summer 2010. Alexander Skarsgard is awesome. Totally exactly how you would picture Eric after reading the novels. He was good in Generation Kill if you guys are looking for something to watch him in over the break.
