Topics: How I Met Your Mother: Episode 4: Season 4

So, I just finished watching the most recent episode of How I Met Your Mother and I'm eager to see what others thought.

So far this season I have been a little underwhelmed by recent episodes. The newer episodes just didn't have as many clever who-is-the-mother mysteries or plot throw backs. But, this episode reminded me why I love this show!! Especially the last few minutes with the toast in the bar shown a year into the future. Ted is not wearing a wedding ring, Barney and Robin are sitting curiously close, they still have the old apartment..etc.

I love how much thought goes into making this show!

I know! I thought maybe I was wishing the robyn Barney thing rather than seeing it!Glad someone else thought that they looked a bit close and cozy! :D

I didn't notice those things at the end, probally because its very late but i agree, although i was pleased recent episodes mainly because any new HIMYM are pleasing i had thought the new series was sub par. This episode completely changed that it was all round de-lightful, we got to see Barney back at his best with my favourite pick up since when he called the fake ambulance on that one girl a few series back (future barney genius) and plenty of flashbacks/forwards making it easily best episode so far, can't wait for the next one to see if they do move out the apartment/state/country.

Best episode of the season. 80 year old barney makes a girl think he is from the future and the only way to stop global warming is to sleep with present day barney. Marshall with the 90's dr. suess hat intervention. Sorry but I have to say it this one was legendary..wait for it..dary.

I agree Season 4 definately put some of the (gah I hate to sound corny but..) awesomeness back in! I had felt slightly let down by the start of Season 4 (esp episode 1) but they definately brought it back with the intevention story line! LOVE it!!well done on the no wedding ring!! I'm definately guna have to mentiont hat to my boyfriend as he always picks up on these little things where I miss them!! God I'd love Barney n Robin get together. :) Ah am so excited for tonight!!Am in UK so can't watch it till Tuesday grrr =D
