The Big Bang Theory Season 6 Review “The Tenure Turbulence” – Putting Down Roots

When an elderly professor died at his desk (and got left there for two weeks), a tenured spot at the university opened up…and everyone except Howard, who wasn’t eligible, wanted it in last week’s episode of the The Big Bang Theory, "The Tenure Turbulence." I think the best part of the episode was the return of Regina King as HR director, Mrs. Davis, who also happens to be on the committee deciding who will get the position. Her interactions with Sheldon are priceless; not over the top, but with just enough arched eyebrow to let even Sheldon know that he’s crossed the line. And that’s not easy for Sheldon to figure out, being that he’s the kind of guy who would buy the DVD set of Roots thinking it would make the perfect gift for a black woman.
