Once Upon a Time Season 2 Review “Lacey” – Nice Guys Finish Last

Everyone loves a bad boy, even princesses cursed with fake memories, as Belle proved in "Lacey," this week’s episode of Once Upon a Time. Lacey was the real-world curse personality that Belle would have had if Regina hadn’t kept her locked away, and when she needed to punish Gold, Regina gave it back to her, and Belle went from confused amnesiac to drunk barfly in two shakes of a lamb’s tail. Knowing that the only way to break the curse would be true love’s kiss, Gold set about to make Lacey love him by doing all the things that made Belle fall in love with Rumple in the Enchanted Forest. As it turned out, the Beast had Robin Hood to thank for changing Belle’s mind about him. After Robin stole a wand from Rumple in order to save Maid Marion’s life (and the life of their unborn child), Rumple tried to make him pay for it, but Belle helped the outlaw escape. When Rumple tracked him down and realized why Robin stole from him, he couldn’t go through with killing him, earning Belle’s respect, which would eventually lead to her love. READ MORE...
