The Worst Movies of 2008

I do not agree with most of that list. The Incredible Hulk was a giant step up from the hulk and Edward Nortan was a giant step up from Bana, definitely not one of the worst movies of the year, four christmas's you got exactly what they promised you, a funny christmas movie, and it was funny, it wasnt trying to be more than that so I dont think that deserves to be on the list either. Twilight is no where near this list, and Zohan, maybe it woud be in the top 25 worst but definitely not number one. The list should actually go. 10. Punisher; War Zone 9. Delgo-that animated flop 8. Bangkok Dangerous - the Nicholas Cage Bomb 7. The Happening 6. High School Musical 3- God I really hope none of them flunk so they can make a HSM4; The Make-up Year, please shoot me now 5. Disaster Movie - Its right there in the title, stop with the parody movies, Wayans Bros have a good idea, then everyone has to rip it off and make 85 more of them. 4. Meet Dave- Oh Eddie Murphy, when are you going to stop phoning in these awful movies? 3. Saw 87, or whatever they are up to now, first one was a great idea, i'll even give them the second, but five really? Just stop it already 2. 27 Dresses, no one from Grey's Anatomy or Desperate Housewives should ever be allowed to make a movie. 1. Made of Honor - Again, see my explanation for #2 Special consideration should also go to; Wanted, The Day the Earth Stood Still, anything that Cedric the Entertainer, Ice Cube, Martin Lawrence or Paris Hilton were in this year, any of the god awful horror movies that were made, any of the other 22 parody movies, romantic comedies where you already know what happens just by seeing the trailer, and any of the sequels to movies where they use different actors for the parts cause the big name people didnt want to do the sequal. So there are a lot of movies that deserve to make the list some so forgetable you cant remember the names, but a lot of the ones you put on the list werent great but not nearly the absolute worst of the year

honestly i think ak10 is right on alot of points...especially because twilight should be nowhere near this list because its one of the best most top money making movie there is!

I STRONGLY DISAGREE.You must mention its your personal or movie with huge expectation but in reality not up to mark. For my personal View and see the business please. The movie you listed should be on Top 25 movie of this year, Except 88 Minute. The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor The Incredible Hulk Iron Man Wanted Hancock None of this is upto mark, most movie end before some climax or some real action. But i cant say they are in years worst list. There is lots disappointment, but i will not call them worst 10. And you listed some awesome and Hit movie in this list, its could only be your personal choice.

If you have an issue with the list comment on the site not here so the writer can respond and defend his article like he said in the article itself. But you probably didn't read that far did ya.

I'm ashamed to admit this, but I kinda enjoyed Zohan. No, it was not high-brow comedy, but it actually made me laugh. I feel like the film embraced the fact that it was a preposterous premise, which is what made it kind of fun, if you are a fan of Sandler's sillier brand of comedy.And...though simplistic - it did have an end message, which is more than I can say for movies such as The Happening.I tend to be a lot more lenient towards comedies. If they manage to make me laugh, they probably won't fall on my worst list.

really guys, esp asif2bd, how in d world does hancock, wanted, iron man or incredible hulk even feature anywhere on a worst list? m guessing u don't like nice action or super hero flicks.

I cant belive that Twilight is NO.4 ffs it was a great film and how the hell is it stephenie meyers fault (as the article says) she had no say in what the movie came out like if anything it was catehrine hardwicks fault but i completly disagree with twilight being in that list. Im not saying that it was the greatest film ever and yes it was spoilt if you read the book first because you were expecting a lot more action but it wasn't that bad. All of my friends and my siblings have seen the movie and we all love it so that article is wrong!!!!

"What" Twilight should IN NO WAY be on that list for a small budget they made pretty damn good money & its one of the top searched flicks not too mention the blow out at Borders as well as other bookstores selling all four books. The only thing I can say about Twilight is I am hoping that the next few films such a New Moon & hopefully if they continue making the books into movies Eclipse & Breaking Dawn will be far better with the special effects, & have intense more detail. Having said this they did a pretty good job with what funds they had. I know I and many other people are looking forward to the next film. Shoot I am not a reader all this Twilight Mania got me reading I am on the third book now. That must say something & my teenage daughters well they are reading too. TWILIGHT IS AWESOME!

i loved the twilight books, but the movie was NOT good. The acting was terrible, the screenplay was terrible, there were parts where people were laughing when it wasn't supposed to be funny, and the special effects looked dumb. I think the book deserved a WAY better interpretation then that and the only reason most people like it is just because they are obsessed with the series in general, not because it's actually good. And it made a ton of money because the books have a large following, it has nothing to do with the quality of the movie. I really hope the new director does some major changes for the next movie.

I totally agree, Strawberry, the Twilight books are legendary and some of the acting had me throwing things at the screen, it was a big disappointment after looking forward to the film for so long.You definately can't blame Stephenie Meyer for the interpretation of book to film, she is one of the best writers since JK Rowling.Fingers crossed for some improvemtents in the next movie...

I agree with strawberry also. The problem with twilight was that it was so built up the book as great as it is, is practically a diary and so don't you think that maybe you should show Bella writing one. And the film takes so long setting the scene it completely misses Bella and Edward falling in love and Edward poking her with questions which personally my favourite bit was.Another problem with the movie was Patterson he just was not Edward i know it was the way he was written, (Edward would never say things like spider monkey, what is up with that) but also it was the way Patterson played him all sort of oh I’m hot and i know it but in truth if you have read the books Edward doesn't know it in fact he despises himself, Bella is the only thing that keeps him living.Last but not least, in fact MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!!!!!!, Stewart was DREADFUL she for one was too winey for Bella (which I thought to be impossible) and again Bella would act as she did (although she was closer than Patterson was to Edward) I can forgive Patterson as Edward was always pictured as the perfect man for every woman, however Bella was human so they could have got the clumsy, Wuthering heights lover close to the book.It makes me so made when people say that it was a brilliant film it wasn't however it doesn't deserve to be on the worst movies list. It was grate if you were a young Teenage girl/ (boy) and loved all this type of slow beginning and then its over in a rush.
