Mad Men Season 6 Review “Favors”

Just when you think that Don Draper can’t sink any lower, he somehow manages to find a way. It’s been apparent since the beginning of Mad Men that while Don has a considerably large ego, at his core he has a low opinion of himself. People who become a part of his inner circle eventually see that he is insecure and selfish. All except three little people who think he’s the best man in the entire world: his children. Last night, Don lost the respect of his young daughter, Sally, when she walked in on him on top of a woman who was not his wife. Sally’s face said it all, as did Don’s. In that instant, Don knew that he had lost something that he would probably never get back – the feeling that a parent has before his child realizes that he is a flawed human being. READ MORE...
