The penultimate episode of Hannibal’s first season was a big one. Things are escalating in a huge way as we go into next week’s finale, with characters lives and reputations on the line left and right. I love how this show has really pushed back against falling into the "killer of the week" trap. While a couple of these stories have been somewhat stand-alone, the vast majority have not and had repercussions in later episodes. Such was the case here with the return of Georgia, and Will actually bonding with a woman who had done something so ghastly – and yet who he could empathize with, considering his own disoriented mental state. The fact that we could see Georgia in a sympathetic light was also remarkable and impressive, given the true horror movie monster she represented when we met her. READ MORE...
