TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: "PARASITICA" REVIEW

It had been awhile since we'd seen any new TMNT, but "Parasitica" was a fun-filled return for our heroes in a half shell, as Michelangelo had to deal with his brothers transforming into mindless minions, and the giant mutant wasps that turned them -- because, why not? As self-contained storylines go, this was one of the more creative episodes in terms of just how crazy things got -- but that wasn't much of a surprise when, in the first few minutes, the Turtles stumbled upon their first enemy arthropod. I like how it was sort of routine at this point to send Mikey in as a distraction, while the other Turtles took out the enemy. ("He's really turned running away screaming into an art form.") But that wasn't the case this time around, as Mike used his kusarigama to take down the wasp... but at the expense of infecting Leonardo. READ MORE...
