‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Trailer: See What Happens During Photo I.D. Day at the Precinct

The best way to get to know someone? Ask them to strike a pose for a picture.

That’s the premise behind the latest trailer for Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, a workplace comedy about the cops of New York City’s 99th precinct. Each photo session reveals something about one of the characters. For instance, we learn that the competent goofball Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) is a ball of energy with little respect for authority, while his superior officer Captain Ray Holt (Andre Braugher) is as no-nonsense as they come. Detective Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero) is all business, and Sergeant Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews) is happy to pose without his shirt. By the end of the trailer, you won’t be surprised that the comedy comes from Parks and Recreation executive producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur– it seems the team has assembled another crew of lovable weirdos for us to root for. Watch the trailer below.
