TV ratings: 'Big Brother' tops Thursday but will probably be down

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013Thursday's overnight ratings on all the broadcast networks come with a caveat: A number of NFL preseason games pre-empted regular programming and caused ratings bumps across the board. The numbers you see below will likely come down in final nationals.That said, "Big Brother" will still likely end the night as the top show among adults 18-49. It's currently running even with its performance from last week's eviction show. "Hollywood Game Night" held onto its demographic lead at 10 o'clock. The finale of "The Winner Is" also rose for NBC, as did "Motive" and "Rookie Blue" for ABC.CBS averaged 6.6 million viewers and a 4.2 rating/7 share in households for the night, beating out the 4.95 million viewers and 3.3/6 for second-place NBC.
