WILFRED: "PERSPECTIVE" REVIEW

After Ryan's breakdown in the grocery store last week, it was only fitting that this week's "Perspective" opened with Ryan in a therapy session. For Ryan, of course, therapy could also mean a minefield of red flags, especially with Wilfred in the room with him. It was a pleasant surprise to see Fringe's Lance Reddick as Dr. Blum, and he played the part well. However, his character did seem a bit underutilized here, without any real voice of his own or any particular standout moments. But as much as he needed to be involved in this storyline, his role was well-executed. I did enjoy his insistence to get Wilfred involved in the session, noting that "dogs can be very therapeutic."
