TV ratings: 'CMA Music Festival' scores for ABC Monday, 'Under the Dome' slips

Fast National ratings for Monday, Aug. 12, 2013The "CMA Music Festival" scored some of its best ratings ever since it started airing on ABC, drawing its biggest overall audience and its best 18-49 rating since 2006. The three-hour special helped the network lead Monday night.Elsewhere, "Under the Dome" dropped some for CBS but still led its time period by a good margin, even with competition from the CMA special. All three of NBC's shows were up a little, led by "American Ninja Warrior."ABC brought in 8.2 million viewers and a 5.3 rating/9 share in households for the night, leading second-place CBS (6.1 million, 3.9/6) by better than 2 million viewers. NBC (3.5 million, 2.1/3) was a ways back in third. FOX took fourth with 1.5 million viewers and a 1.0/2, and The CW (609,000, 0.4/1).ABC also led the 18-49 demographic with a 2.0 rating.
