TV ratings: 'Big Brother' and 'Masterchef' rise Wednesday, 'America's Got Talent' steady

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013FOX's "Masterchef" and CBS' "Big Brother" both improved on their ratings from last week "Masterchef" was once again the night's top show among adults 18-49, and "Big Brother" was close behind."America's Got Talent," meanwhile, captured the night's biggest total audience on the broadcast networks with numbers more or less even with a week ago. Both "The Lookout" and "Camp" were down at 10 p.m.NBC drew 6.15 million viewers and a 3.9 rating/7 share in households in primetime, beating the 5.5 million and 3.6/6 for second-place CBS. FOX (4.2 million, 2.6/4) came in third. ABC (3.1 million, 2.1/4) finished fourth, and The CW (1.1 million, 0.8/1) trailed.FOX grabbed the top spot in the 18-49 demographic with a 1.7 rating.
