"Thicker Than Water" was a fairly straight-forward episode, with lots of shooting and a big explosion toward the end. It elevated the tension between Jim and Ollie, but it also wrapped things up a bit too neatly for my taste. I still want this show to take more risks than it does, especially as it pertains to the desperate nature of the Domeizens as resources run out. Plus, the title of the episode itself basically gave away the fact that Junior would wind up re-siding with his father by the end. That being said, the best part about this chapter was that it effectively re-lit the fuse between Jim and Barbie - which started on a much smaller scale back in the third episode.
