Valvrave The Liberator Episode #12 Anime Review

Since before this series started, it was announced that it would be two seasons, each twelve episodes, with a three-month break in between. With that knowledge, it was pretty obvious that they’d set up some kind of big cliffhanger at the end of this episode that we have to wait another three months to see resolved. As usual, this show has many similarities to Code Geass, although mostly on a much smaller scale. Everything is about half as long, and even though the robots are more than simply machines and they fight in space, the scope of the story feels much less significant. This series has also spent much more time essentially killing time until they can come out with some twists or cliffhangers, following repetitive formulas and only briefly touching on new and exciting ideas.
