REVOLUTION: "BORN IN THE U.S.A." REVIEW

Revolution had quite a rocky first year. Despite the very notable resume of those behind it -- including Eric Kripke, J.J. Abrams and Jon Favreau – the series had a lot of trouble firmly establishing exactly what it was about and a consistent tone, after the initial “life after all the power on Earth has gone out” set up, and there were too many murky motivations and characters making frustrating decisions. I enjoyed Revolution a decent amount of the time (certainly more than others it seems), but still, it wasn’t hard to see this show needed some major work.
