Glee Season 5 Episode 2 Review “Tina in the Sky With Diamonds”

You may have noticed how enthusiastic I was about last week’s Glee premiere, but sadly it felt to me as if this second episode, ‘Tina in the Sky With Diamonds’, was back to the the disappointing season four status quo once again. It wasn’t a terrible episode, but it was nowhere near as fun as last week either.

I’ll start with the McKinley action as it’s always the least interesting to me. It’s prom time again, which means that half of the prom king and queen nominees are from the glee club. I mean really? Blaine was nominated and Sam wasn’t? This is after Kurt was tormented for being gay, and now his boyfriend (now fiancé) is nominated over a football player who’s previously dated three Cheerios – it just doesn’t make sense to me.
