'Doctor Who' lost episodes released on iTunes by BBC

The BBC is officially confirming they've come into possession of some lost "Doctor Who" episodes and has already remastered and released them to iTunes. While initial reports said that as many as 106 episodes were discovered in Africa, the network claims only 11 were found, nine of which have been missing for 46 years. The episodes comprise two six-episode stories featuring Patrick Troughton, the second Doctor. The first, "The Enemy of the World," had previously been missing five of its episodes. The second, "The Web of Fear," is still missing one episode, which was not found during the discovery. However, the BBC says part of the story has been reconstructed using 37 different images from the still-missing episode, as well as the original audio. The BBC is partnering with iTunes to offer these found episodes exclusively. It will be interesting to see if they release even more in the future. Yet another special treat for fans leading...
