The Blacklist Season 1 Review “The Stewmaker”

When Red Reddington first introduced to the idea of The Blacklist, a few thoughts instantly formed in my mind. I had images of James Spader and Megan Boone traveling the world in search of these mysterious individuals. There would be plenty of jet-setting, and the criminal world would feature many people with comparable levels of charisma to Red. Instead, everyone has been kind enough to come to our doorstep, and the criminals continue to get progressively less interesting. To the show’s credit, it tried to give us a far better idea of who we were dealing with this week as opposed to the constantly scowling and security conscious Wujing. Unfortunately, these guys just aren’t hitting the mark. The show has to continue to terrorize poor Elizabeth Keene just to make these guys somewhat engaging.
