TV ratings: NFL rules Sunday, 'Once Upon a Time' and other scripted shows fall

Fast National ratings for Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013Sunday was a good night for sports on TV. NBC's "Sunday Night Football" game between Dallas and Washington was up over last week, and FOX's coverage of baseball's American League Championship Series was way up over its comparable coverage last year. It was not a good night, however, for the non-sports programming on CBS. "The Amazing Race," "The Good Wife" and "The Mentalist" all recorded series lows among adults 18-49 for CBS, while "Once Upon a Time" and "Revenge" had their lowest-rated fall episodes ever on ABC. "Betrayal" fell below the 1.0 mark in the 18-49 demographic. (In addition to sports, ABC and CBS had to contend with "The Walking Dead" returning on AMC.)NBC delivered just over 16 million viewers and a 9.3 rating/15 share in households for the night.
