Homeland Season 3 Review “The Yoga Play”

I guess this is what Homeland is now.

One week after seemingly righting the ship (emphasis on the word seemingly), Homeland produced yet another hour full of harebrained ideas, ridiculous plot movements, Dana Brody, and scenes that packed quite an emotional wallop. It now seems to have become the show capable of reaching back and throwing the high heat, but hitting the mascot just as much as it hits the mitt. Even from its stratospheric first season, the show has always been a bit messy. Given the state of mind of the lead actors, it was certainly expected. Now, the mess being created is not the result of a weekend in a cabin, but in rather disappointed attempts to service characters who are no longer needed on this television program.
