TV ratings: World Series tops Wednesday, 'CSI' up with 300th episode

Fast National ratings for Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013The opening game of the World Series scored solid ratings for FOX, improving significantly on last year's Game 1 and carrying the network to an across-the-board victory in primetime.FOX's baseball coverage didn't have a lot of effect on the other networks, however, as most shows were fairly steady from a week ago. The 100th episode of "The Middle" was steady with its last original episode on ABC, and "Modern Family" was down a little but kept its spot as the night's top scripted show in adults 18-49. "Criminal Minds" and "CSI" were both up a bit for CBS, but "Arrow" and "The Tomorrow People" were down some. NBC's "Revolution" was about even.FOX delivered 13.7 million viewers and an 8.2 rating/13 share in households for the night, easily topping CBS' 10.4 million viewers and 6.5/10. ABC (6.95 million, 4.5/7) came in third, and NBC (4.8 million, 3.2/5) took fourth....
