TV ratings: 'Scandal' leads a quiet Halloween Thursday

Fast National ratings for Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013Ratings were down some Thursday, as a combination of lower overall viewing because of Halloween and a handful of reruns made for a relatively quiet evening. "Scandal" ended up as the night's top show among adults 18-49, holding steady with last week in the demographic and rising slightly in viewers. Also Thursday, "The Millers" and "The Crazy Ones" both fell with a "Big Bang Theory" rerun leading off the night. "The Vampire Diaries" dropped as well, but "Reign" maintained its 18-49 rating from a week ago (though it was off a little in viewers). "The X Factor" ran a clip show from its early rounds, and not many people tuned in.CBS led the night in viewers with 9.4 million, along with a 5.9 rating/10 share in households.
