Aisha Tyler joins Ryan Murphy's 'Open'; 'Last Comic Standing' returns to NBC, again

Aisha Tyler has joined the cast of Ryan Murphy's HBO pilot "Open," marking a reunion of sorts between actress and producer.Tyler will play a nurse named Monica in "Open," TVLine reports. The show is billed as an exploration of contemporary relationships and sexuality. Murphy and Lauren Gussis ("Dexter") co-wrote the script.Though Tyler is best known as a comic actress (and co-host of "The Talk"), she has done a fair amount of dramatic work too, including recurring parts on "CSI" and "24."
