'Scandal': Kerry Washington's Olivia Pope is not a 'looks for less' gladiator

Costume designers often say that to copy a character's look, all fans need to do is buy vintage, rip off sleeves and dye fabrics.Maybe if you have a degree from Parsons or the Fashion Institute of Technology, those instructions make sense.
