'Homeland' Recap: Brody Approaches the Border

If you were playing a version of Homeland Bingo tonight, odds are you would have gotten to yell "Bingo!" at some point. Familiar story beats were plentiful during the episode, including the decision to make everything -- just everything going on with the CIA mission to get Brody into Iran to kill the head of the Revolutionary Guard -- come down to personal coincidences.
Brody doesn't move more than a few hundred feet, except at the very end, for the majority of the episode, and while the claustrophobia heightens the tension, the idea of crossing the border from Iraq into Iran does not exactly make for a terribly exciting episode, even if there are a lot of explosions going off and gunfire occurring.  Read More...
