Up until seeing the recent commercials advertising the show, I had never heard of FX's "The Riches". The initial vibe I got from said commercials, was that this was a new program focusing on the 'not-so-boring' lives of upper-class suburbia. You know, another re-hash series with an unoriginal storyline and over-acted portrayals of said individuals. Then I did a little research (Came here to SideReel to see how long the show had been around) and was surprised to find that season one had already completed, and these commercials were for the upcoming second season. I decided to watch the pilot, and about fifteen minutes into the show.... I was hooked. The storyline is incredible and the actors, and their characters are as talented a lot of people as you'll ever find. I really think FX should put more thought into the commercials and advertisements for the show because they truly don't represent what the show is about, nor do they do it justice.
