Space Brothers Episode #78 Anime Review

Though somewhat awkward at times for different reasons, Hibito’s time in Russia has been generally worthwhile. The international nature of those who go into space and what they face and the kind of bonds that are formed transcend things more often than not and this shows it nicely without getting into the bigger picture aspects. That said, Olga’s story as inspiration for Hibito works in only the thinnest of ways for me, but it’s enough to provide what he needs to get back on the training side of things. It’s more the family connection I think that strikes him than her performance, though that certainly isn’t something that hurts either as he gets to look back at who she once was, trials and tribulations and all, to where she is now at fifteen and so completely capable so as to bring people to their feet when she performs.
