Ratings: 'Pretty Little Liars' fans not swayed by 'Originals' ad

"The Originals" may want "Pretty Little Liars" fans to change the channel, but the "PLL" faithful have not been swayed. In the first head-to-head meeting during the regular season of both shows, the ABC Family drama trumped the CW drama by over 400,000 viewers, 2.4 million viewers vs. 1.98 million viewers -- though that gap is not as big as when the two shows aired against each other back in October during the "Liars" annual Halloween special, which "PLL" won by nearly a million viewers. In the adults 18-49 demographic, "Liars" also emerged victorious, with a 1.1 rating vs. "The Originals" at 0.9.The "PLL" domination of Twitter also continued, with the broadcast generating nearly half a million tweets.
