'NCIS' EP 'proud' of Delilah storyline: She'll 'rise up after what she's been through'

At the 2014 TCA press tour panel for CBS drama showrunners, "NCIS" executive producer Gary Glasberg addressed the decision to have new character Delilah Fielding (Margo Harshman) be left paralyzed after a bomb explosion, which the EP says will provide rich material for the show and the character. "I'm actually really proud of that decision," says Glasberg. "The intent is to show an individual, a really smart individual, take control of her life and rise up after what she's been through. That's all the stuff that's coming down the road. We're excited about the arc of what that character is going to face as someone in a wheelchair and how that's going to be portrayed."Glasberg adds, "Any time we can mix it up a little bit ... if we can a stir the pot a little bit, that's great.
