The Originals Season 1 Review “Après Moi, le Déluge”

On the latest episode of “The Originals,” all heck broke loose, but not quite Hell, in the cryptically-titled, “Après Moi, le Déluge.” I took French in high school, so I thought I knew what it meant, and I was pretty darn close after a double-check: “After me, the flood.” (I thought it was: “After me, the water,” so I guess I did learn a little French in spite of myself- or my grades, lol.)

However, that’s not to say that things didn’t get a little hairy here and there. As it turned out, Davina’s powers were catching up to her, and Sophie was convinced it was because the Harvest hadn’t been completed and no one woman was meant to have so much power, and that was why Davina was starting to reach overload, not her being upset over recent transpired events with the Originals, Marcel and the death of Tim.
