The Tomorrow People Season 1 Review “Rumble”

You can try to run away from your past if you like, but it always finds a way to worm its way back into your life. That’s a lesson that Cara learned the hard way in this episode of The Tomorrow People. She also learned that being a good leader isn’t nearly as easy as it looks. Stephen was also put to the test. Jedikiah’s twisted version of Survivor, I suppose.

Apparently Ultra has a recruitment program that rivals the CIA. Of course, I would hope that the CIA doesn’t kill you if you fail one of their tests. With Ultra, death as a punishment for failure is a very real possibility. Stephen witnessed one of the recruits who didn’t make the cut get her powers stripped, and he was sickened by it. Jedikiah then sent Stephen and the other 2 recruits on a mission to grab a breakout named Julian, and basically told them that whoever was the weak link on the team was going to die. The problem is that Julian is a lunatic. But more on that later.
