TV ratings: Shaun White helps Olympic ratings rebound Tuesday, 'New Girl' drops

Fast National ratings for Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014Snowboarder Shaun White had a disappointing night in Sochi Tuesday, but his presence helped give NBC's Winter Olympics coverage a ratings boost. The prime-time portion of the games improved both on Monday's numbers and the comparable night from the 2010 Olympics.FOX was the only network to run a full slate of originals opposite the Olympics Tuesday, and its numbers were predictably down. The season finale of "Dads," "New Girl" and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" all dipped some from last week.NBC brought in 23.7 million viewers and a 13.8 rating/21 share in households for the night, once again out-drawing the other four broadcast nets combined. CBS (7.8 million, 5.2/8) was the best of the rest, finishing well ahead of ABC (3.1 million, 2.0/3).
