FOX's American version of The X Factor has officially been canceled, with Cowell heading back to the UK as judge for the original British version. It looks like FOX just didn't have the 'x factor.' The network announced that after three seasons on the air, they've officially given the axe to the US version of hit British competition series The X Factor. The cancellation news comes shortly after the announcement that Simon Cowell would be returning to the UK edition as a judge this year.
